Prohibition on Political Betting

As Approved by Special Meeting of Coordinating Committee on April 22, 2026

Members of the Vermont Progressive Party are prohibited from participating in any betting or prediction markets that involve political outcomes. This includes, but is not limited to, wagering on elections, candidates, public policy decisions, or any politically related events through platforms such as Polymarket or similar services.

Engaging in such activities creates conflicts of interest, undermines public trust, and is inconsistent with the Progressive Party’s commitment to ethical political engagement.

Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including removal from party roles or membership.
